The Junior World Golf Championships is truly unique with a total field size exceeding 1000 golfers and representing an impressive number of countries and states. Many Junior World champions have gone on to enjoy successful careers on the PGA and LPGA Tours, including Amy Alcott, Notah Begay, Brandie Burton, John Cook, Dorothy Delasin, Ernie Els, Phil Mickelson, Corey Pavin, Pat Perez, Joan Pitcock, Nick Price, Kim Shipman, Craig Stadler, David Toms and Tiger Woods.

The DuPage County Junior Classic serves as a local qualifier for an additional fee.

 PRACTICE ROUND INFORMATION
Once the courses open in late March, the walking fee for any junior to play any of the 9-hole or 18-hole courses is $11. The $11 junior rate will be offered starting at 12 pm or later (7 days a week). Adults will pay the regular fees and spectators or caddies are not permitted for practice rounds.

Outings and other tee-time commitments may restrict availability. Golfers are strongly encouraged to call ahead to the pro shops to confirm availability.

Tee Times may be scheduled for the 18-hole course at Maple Meadows up to one week in advance.

Maple Meadows does have a heavy schedule of afternoon golf leagues for the 18-hole course and the East-9. The Maple Meadows league schedule is as follows:

-Monday (West unavailable from 2-4:15) - (East unavailable from 3-4)

-Tuesday (West unavailable from 2:45-5:30) - (East unavailable from 4:30-5:30

-Wednesday (West unavailable from 2:45-5:30) - (East unavailable from 4:45-5:30)

-Thursday (West unavailable from 2:45-5:00) - (East unavailable from 3-4:30)

Parents and spectators are welcome.

Contestants are reminded of Rule 8. Advice, concerning advice and receiving assistance: Penalty = two strokes in Stroke Play or loss of hole in Match Play.

Contestants are responsible for actions of parents/spectators and are reminded that significant contact/conversation may be construed as advice by fellow competitors.

Please come out and the players compete on their own. All spectators must check in with a member of the IJGA staff and sign-in stating that they understand the rules and regulations of specating at an IJGA event.
